IELTS Pilot Course Announcement

The Foreign Language Centre organises a new pilot course on IELTS ™ Academic for the spring semester 2017-2018, addressed to the students of the School of Health Sciences. The lessons will start from mid-March 2018 and end in June 2018. Two groups of students will be formed to accommodate approximately a number of 60 students.

IELTS Academic is a certificate widely recognised for entry to study at undergraduate or postgraduate levels, and also for professional registration purposes. It assesses whether one is ready to begin studying or training in an environment where English language is used. Thus, the course was set up to supplement the School's English courses in an effort to aid students in their future studies.

Most importantly, the course is part of a wider research project on Innovating Teaching methodologies and Anxiety.
